Music is a very important part of our services at Generations Church. Psalm 66:4 says, “Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs.”
That’s why we spend a lot of time and energy preparing to lead the church in the presence of God.

Currently, our Music Team leads at one of three venues throughout the week. All musicians are required to be available to play at any of these venues, and attend the rehearsal for that particular venue. However, a Music Team member only plays one venue a week. These services are:

1. The Back Room Student Ministry on Wednesday Night :: (rehearsal on Sunday night)
2. Celebrate Recovery on Friday Night :: (rehearsal on Tuesday night)
3. Sunday morning services :: (rehearsal on Thursday night)

If you are interested in joining the Generations Church Music Team, then please follow the steps below and ask us about our next audition. The steps are:

1. Print the “Music Team Information Form” and fill out all the information
2. Either email the Form to Dave Holt, or turn the sheet into Keith Winstead on any Sunday morning.
3. Prepare to play/sing the following songs:
   • Personal Piece (original, praise, or any song of your choosing)
   • Mighty To Save
   • Happy Day

Here are some important notes about the audition:

• Please have your Music Team Info Form filled out before you come to the audition
• Bring any and all instruments that you are auditioning for
• All vocal auditions will be with a live band, not with an accompaniment CD. Also, vocalist will be asked to sing lead and harmony on the selected pieces.
