Jesus. The most unique figure in history.

Jesus is also the single most controversial figure in history.

Not because of the things He did, but because of what He said about Himself. He made promises no mere man can keep. But don't take our word for it. Here are His own words, notice how truly intense His claims really are.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well.” (John 14:6-7)
Jesus said... “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
Jesus said... “The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26)
Jesus said... “Whoever believes... is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” (John 3:18)

What does this mean for you?

How you choose to respond to these words will alter the course of your future. First, understand that you are separated from God by your sinful choices. Second, realize the way to God is not through a religious to-do list, but through a person - Jesus Christ. Third, notice that a relationship with God is a free gift that comes by faith in Jesus and what He did for you on the cross.

The choice is yours. It's up to you to personally answer Jesus' question, "Do you believe this?" If you believe, then personally pray to Jesus Christ and trust in Him as your Lord who died to forgive your sin and rose again from the dead, promising to give you eternal life.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. (Romans 10:9-10)
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1)
