(Message 7) The word “adultery” isn’t used much anymore. Even the term “unfaithful” has given way to softer words like “mistake”. Whatever we call it, it’s devastating. Whether its emotional infidelity with someone other than our spouse, pornography, or sleeping around, Jesus doesn’t leave any room for interpretation on where the line is crossed. What is Adultery?

Adultery occurs when someone has a sexual relationship with someone other than his or her spouse. This relationship may or may not include an emotional connection.

 

Action Steps:

  1. Repent and Seek Forgiveness
  2. Be Accountable
  3. Create Boundaries
  4. Pursue Regular Counseling
  5. Have Sex Regularly with your Spouse
  6. Develop a New Identity
