It’s Not About Me

16 Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”

17 “We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.

18 “Bring them here to me,” he said….

– Matthew 14:16-18 (NIV)

It’s easy to get overwhelmed when we’re not seeing things from God’s perspective. It’s just as easy to get self-centered when we’re not centered on Christ. Jesus did an amazing thing with the tiny resources that were brought to Him – a miraculous thing. So when our perspective says, “Impossible,” or “I can’t” to what God asks of us, we should remember Who we’re talking to. In the end, it’s not about us!
