(Message 6) Does your religion get in the way of a relationship with Jesus? When Jesus was invited to a religious man’s house for a banquet. He noticed everyone was preoccupied with their religious position and importance. In response He told a story of different banquet, a renegade banquet for those more interested in God, than their religious position. #GCRenegade

Reasons for rejecting God’s invitation:

  1. I’m good
  2. I’m not good enough
  3. I might fail
  4. I don’t know enough
  5. I can’t know enough
  6. I’m having too much fun
  7. Christians are stupid

 

3 Reasons why today is a great day to give your life to Jesus:

  1. The invitation doesn’t come with a rain-check
  2. The invitation is hooked to a dimmer switch
  3. The patience of the Host will come to an end
