GC INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

The GC Internship is a 9-month investment for someone looking to discover and deepen a potential call to ministry. An intern will experience immersive ministry opportunities, evaluated leadership experiences, and intentional theological and ministry development.

The internship is a paid position, running from September to May and requires 20-30 hours per week.

Requirements

18 years or older and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Calling

The GC Internship is designed to help you gain clarity about God’s calling for your life. Whether your next step is full-time ministry, serving faithfully in the local church, or continued personal and spiritual growth, our prayer is that you’ll finish these nine months with greater confidence in where God is leading you.

Intentional Apprenticeship

You’ll be equipped, challenged, and invested in by leaders who want to see you thrive. Through hands-on ministry, meaningful responsibility, intentional mentorship, and spiritual formation, you’ll develop practical ministry skills and gain clarity about where God is leading you next.

Discipleship

This internship is not just about learning ministry. It’s about growing in your walk with Christ. Every rotation includes intentional spiritual investment through mentorship, Bible study, and honest conversations about faith, calling, and character.

A Week in the Life

As an intern, a typical week will likely include the following:

• Planning and strategy meetings with the ministry area
• Bible study & book study review
• 1-1 w/ Ministry mentor
• GCYA / Intern Hang Nights
• Any all-staff meetings
• Weekend serve team
