OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

"Operation Christmas Child delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus Christ to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes. Each box packed full of quality toys, school supplies, and personal care items becomes a tangible expression of God's immense love for the child. For many, it is their first gift ever! ... Shoebox gifts provide an opportunity to present the Gospel to boys and girls in a clear, child-friendly way." (samaritanspurse.org)

There are three ways you can get involved here at Generations:

Option 1: Join our Packing Party, October 14th from 9-noon. Register today and just show up!

Option 2: Pack a box by yourself or several boxes with your small group.

  1. Pack according to instructions.
      • Bring only COMPLETED BOXES to church.
  2. Encourage your friends, family, neighbors, and small group to pack one too
  3. Drop off at Generations Church:
      • Anytime, no later than Sunday, November 5th at 9:00 am or 11:00 am

Option 3: Fund our Packing Party supplies by giving to the Missions fund.

Consider volunteering with Samaritan's Purse at a processing center:

"Before the millions of shoebox gifts collected each year can bring hope and joy to children around the world, each one has to be carefully inspected and made ready for international shipment by volunteers like you. Tens of thousands of volunteers serve annually at shoebox processing centers across the United States after National Collection Week (the third week of November) and into December. Whether you’re interested in serving as an individual or with a group of any size, sign up now to have a direct part in blessing children overseas with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!"
